Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Software Platform Partner II to provide tactical advisory, ensuring the business derives the best value from its portfolio of services and applications. You will act as a platform technical and functional advisor and work with global teams to share best practices.

You will collaborate with Arcadis enabling functions, support adoption, and contribute to knowledge management, governance, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description: The Software Platform Partner II will provide tactical advisory to ensure the business gets the best value from the portfolio of services and applicationsRole accountabilities:Act as a platform technical and functional advisor.Provide consultancy support and share best practices across the global business teams.Represent Arcadis tech colleagues in meetings with vendor enterprise teams.Collaborate with Arcadis operational teams in adoption, pursuits and project delivery.Help administer, maintain and enable leverage project data within CDEs including utilizing AI effectively.Ensure platform knowledge management by creation and support of KBAs.Spread knowledge about and drive adoption of the best suited applications and platforms for a given task.Strong soft skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills.Effective contract management and (re)negotiation where applicable.Accountable for other related tasks as assigned by the line manager.Support the resolution of escalations, feedback, and communications.Business partner with designated (sub)service(s).Collaborate with Arcadis enabling functions to ensure continuous compliance with Arcadis’ policies.Shared accountability for business stakeholder and vendor relationships.Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and best practices across other teams within the tower.Qualifications & Experience:Strong experience supporting enterprise software platforms, engineering applications or technology services, with a proven ability to deliver platform support and operational excellence within complex global organizations.Good technical knowledge of assigned software platforms, applications and technology portfolios, with the ability to understand platform capabilities, integrations and business requirements.Demonstrated ability to independently solve technical and operational problems, applying logical, structured and methodical approaches to deliver effective and timely solutions when working from high level objectives.Experience supporting platform administration, configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement activities to ensure stable, secure and reliable service delivery.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions that improve platform performance and user experience.Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors to support platform enhancements, issue resolution and the delivery of business requirements.Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate successfully within global, cross functional and matrixed teams.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and delivering high quality outcomes within agreed service levels and project timelines.Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver small to medium sized projects or platform initiatives from inception through implementation and transition into operational support.Experience contributing to platform governance, documentation, knowledge management and operational best practices to improve service quality, consistency and efficiency.Working knowledge of IT service management principles, change management processes and incident, problem and release management practices within enterprise technology environments.Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that enhance operational performance and user satisfaction.Collaborative working style that promotes accountability, innovation and operational excellence, aligned with the Arcadis Leadership profile of being curious, driving success and igniting passion.Degree level education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Relevant certifications in project management, IT service management, cloud technologies or vendor specific software platforms are desirable.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
