PLC Banen in Almelo is seeking a skilled automation engineer to translate customer specifications into concrete software designs and to develop PLC software for production lines and standalone machines. You will design HMI and SCADA solutions, test, commission, and optimize complex controls, while coordinating with customers and documenting project progress.

• MBO-4 level in energy technology, electrical engineering or automation technology.
• At least three years of relevant experience including independent development and commissioning of software applications.
• Ability to translate global functional and technical requirements into concrete software designs.
• Able to work independently with responsibility, clear communication, and client management plus commercial thinking.
• Driver's license B and willingness to short stay abroad and occasional after-hours work.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs; Siemens and Citect SCADA; Visual Basic, Visual C++ or Visual C#; English and German are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer specifications into software designs and additional technical specifications.
• Develop PLC software for production lines, standalone machines, and production processes.
• Design HMI control screens and SCADA applications from the desired process control.
• Test, commission, optimize, and analyze faults in complex control systems.
• Coordinate technically with customers and participate in project meetings.
• Maintain project documentation and flag changes that affect scope.
• Suggest improvements for control solutions and own work processes.
