Job summary

Schuberg Philis is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Developer to join our close-knit DevOps team and help shape the digital core of our mission-critical software. You will work with modern cloud technologies, maintain quality and security, and collaborate across internal teams to deliver tangible business value.

The role focuses on Angular 18+ with standalone components, TypeScript, NgRx SignalStore/Angular Signals, RxJS, Angular Material and Handsontable, plus Jest.

Qualifications

• Experience with Angular 18+ and standalone components; modern Angular features.
• Strong TypeScript, strictly typed codebase experience.
• Proficient in RxJS and functional programming patterns; NgRx SignalStore/Angular Signals familiarity.
• Experience with Angular Material, Handsontable, and Jest (ng-mocks).
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and HTML/CSS; familiarity with Nx Monorepo and module boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the frontend core within a DevOps team, ensuring quality, security and planning.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in sales, finance and people planning to deliver business value.
• Mentor mid-level developers in a self-steering context and uphold engineering best practices.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Software Developer who can work in the core of our organization with a tightly knit and small DevOps team to deliver business value using modern cloud technologies and a DevOps way of working.

As a senior software engineer, you will join our existing "backbone team", responsible for the digital core of Schuberg Philis, and improve its software development capabilities, working closely with internal stakeholders in sales, finance, and people planning. You will work daily within a DevOps team where your colleagues will expect you to maintain a wide overview while guarding aspects like quality, security, and planning.

Our ideal colleague is someone who has experience with:

• Angular 18+ (modern Angular features, standalone components, zoneless change detection)
• TypeScript, strictly typed
• NgRx SignalStore / Angular Signals
• RxJS and functional programming patterns
• Angular Material and Handsontable
• Jest (including ng-mocks)
• OpenAPI
• HTML/(S)CSS
• Nx Monorepo with module boundaries & dependency constraints
• Affinity for mentoring mid-level developers in a self-steering context
• Proficiency in Dutch required
