Uitzendbureau in Best, Netherlands, seeks a Software Designer Motion Control C++ to join a hybrid team. You will design, implement and test real-time embedded C++ software for motion control in medical systems, collaborating with mechatronics, software and systems teams.

The role demands experience with model-based and formal methods, and tools like MATLAB, Simulink and ROS. You will prototype, analyze field data and improve large codebases in a pragmatic, results-driven environment.

Formación

• Master's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in real-time embedded software development with full lifecycle in C++.
• Experience with formal methods/tools (ASD/Dezyne/mCRL2/CoCo); ROS and MATLAB a plus.
• Strong teamwork and pragmatic, cross-disciplinary communication.

Als Software Designer Motion Control C++ werk je aan real-time embedded software voor geavanceerde medische systemen. Je ontwerpt, implementeert en test C++-code voor motion control en werkt nauw samen met mechatronica-, software- en systeemteams. Je past zowel traditionele als modelgebaseerde en formele methoden toe en werkt met tools als Matlab, Simulink en ROS. In deze rol los je storingen op, voeg je nieuwe features toe aan grote codebases en verbeter je bestaande software. Je voert prototype- en nieuwproductontwikkeling uit en analyseert velddata en obsolescentie. De functie vraagt om een praktische, resultaatgerichte aanpak en de bereidheid minimaal drie dagen per week op kantoor te werken binnen een hybride werkomgeving.

Functie-inhoud

• Je ontwerpt en implementeert real-time embedded C++ software voor motion control in medische systemen.
• Je test en valideert softwarecomponenten met modelgebaseerde en formele methoden, inclusief unit- en integratietests.
• Je werkt met Matlab, Simulink en ROS voor besturing, simulatie en integratie van robotica- en motion?'modules.
• Je onderhoudt en verbetert grote codebases, lost bugs op en implementeert nieuwe functionaliteit in legacy en nieuw code.

Functie-eisen

• Je hebt minimaal een master in Software Engineering of een vergelijkbare technische richting en woont in Nederland.
• Je brengt meer dan vijf jaar ervaring mee in real-time embedded softwareontwikkeling en volledige lifecycle in C++.
• Je hebt ervaring met formele methoden en/of tools zoals ASD, Dezyne, mCRL2 of CoCo; kennis van ROS en Matlab is een pre.
• Je werkt goed in multidisciplinaire teams, communiceert helder met technische en niet-technische collega's en denkt pragmatisch.
