Job summary

Signify Nederland is offering an exciting Social Impact & Due Diligence Intern position in Amsterdam or Eindhoven. You will assist in assessing social and human rights impacts across Signify's operations and value chain, reporting to the Sustainability & Due Diligence Lead and collaborating with teams beyond sustainability.

You will help improve due diligence processes, conduct regulatory research, and develop practical tools for responsible business conduct.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Human Rights, Public Policy, International Relations, Business Ethics, Law, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the continuous improvement of Signify's human rights due diligence and monitoring processes.
Conduct research on emerging human rights and sustainability regulations.
Review international standards related to human rights due diligence and responsible business conduct.
Support development of Just Transition workplan and stakeholder engagement.
Analyze social impact, risk, and performance data to identify trends and insights.
Contribute to tools and methodologies translating due diligence concepts into practice.
Benchmark peer companies and leading practices in social impact and human rights management.
