Job summary

Northwave Group is seeking a SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center in Utrecht. You will manage day-to-day security monitoring, triage alerts, and provide timely, high-quality support to clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alarms and events from client environments to provide comprehensive reports.
• Triage alerts based on procedures and playbooks, determine impact and urgency.
• Inform clients with clear guidance on next steps and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with SOC teammates when incidents fall outside playbooks.
• Handle security-related questions via email or phone.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans and support remediation follow-up.
• Support other analysts based on expertise and experience.
• Continuously improve SOC processes and playbooks.
