About the job

In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing, sustaining, and continuously improving the (new) operating model for the SN R&I team. You will establish effective ways of working and governance practices in close collaboration with both Fundamental R&I teams and Zone R&I teams, as well as SN Business Interfaces.

In this position you will be reporting into the Strategic Portfolio & Governance Director and you will have the following accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Lead the transition & implementation of the operating model for the new SN R&I Categories organization, aligning structure, processes and resources with strategic objectives (in synch with FMCGs) – to standardize the ways of working within One R&I
• Implement for SN Categories an effective governance structure to improve global project management and decision-making between the R&I Categories team and the Advanced, M&NS, UX and Regional R&I teams.
• Prepare and drive the SN R&I led meetings, such quarterly project reviews with global teams and/or zones ensuring that strategic objectives are clearly communicated and adhered to, monitor action, report to senior management, outlining key findings, progress and strategic recommendations.
• Act as a key liaison between the different functional areas of the organization to foster a collaborative innovation environment, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing between SN R&I, zone R&I and core R&I teams.

About you

• Master’s degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related field (preferably added with an MBA)
• 10+ years in a R&I environment Experience in the FMCG or Pharma industry, biotechnology or food technology.
• Experience in a senior role focusing on organizational transformation, operating models, and governance within an R&D or similar technical environment (e.g. Consultant).
• Familiarity with R&D processes and innovation, Fluent English is mandatory
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to navigate complex organizational landscapes.
• Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and cultures., and to engage and challenge higher business stakeholders
• Innovative and proactive in problem solving and solution implementation.
• Strategic mindset and the ability to see the big picture.
• Strong getting things done mentality and strong networker
