Qualifications

• Around 3 years of experience as a steelworker in shipyards or industrial environments.
• Experience installing and attaching steel penetrations on board ships.
• Driving licence category B.
• Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Installing and positioning steel penetrations on board ships.
• Attaching and tack welding steel components on site.
• Aligning and fixing steel parts according to technical drawings.
• Preparing steel components for final welding.

Skills

Ability to perform tack welding

Ability to read and work from technical drawings

Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
