Job summary

Moens Mouldings is seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician for 40 hours per week to join our production team in the Netherlands. You will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, record malfunctions, and ensure smooth information transfer between shifts.

You will install and dismantle moulds, verify tools, start up machines, and approve test products for packaging. You will also manage stock, report shortages, and maintain the building and outdoor silo piping.

Qualifications

• MBO-3 (intermediate vocational) education in electrical engineering or production technician.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial automation.
• Good command of spoken and written Dutch (German and English are a plus).
• Knowledge of injection moulding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Record and resolve malfunctions; complete inspection lists for information transfer to other shifts.
• Install and dismantle existing and new moulds; check tools and record data.
• Start up machines, assess test products and approve them for packaging.
• Ensure adequate stock and report shortages; maintain building and inspect hoses/pipes of outdoor silos.

What will you do?

In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on production equipment. Moreover, you will be responsible for recording and resolving malfunctions. You will complete inspection lists of problems and malfunctions to ensure information transfer to other shifts.

You are responsible for installing and dismantling existing and new moulds. To this end, you will check if the necessary tools are available and record the installation and dismantling data. You will also independently start up machines, assess the (test) products and approve them for packaging. You are authorised to take products from the parts warehouse needed for the job. It is every technician’s responsibility to ensure sufficient stock. If stock is insufficient, you will report this in good time. Furthermore, you are responsible for maintaining the building technically and inspecting hoses and pipes of outdoor silos.

Your workday

You are a true early bird, especially on Mondays when we start the week early. Together with the entire Technical Department (TD) team, you ensure a good start. The TD team consists of 5 permanent employees, so there is always someone to start the day with. Since you work with different machines and we are constantly looking for new techniques, you can expect plenty of variety and challenges in your work, making each day different.

What do you need to work as a shift and maintenance technician at Moens Mouldings?
