Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Operations professional to support front-line leadership in the absence of store management. You will handle opening/closing duties, cash handling, and ensuring readiness of the floor and stock room for the day.

You will also engage customers, process returns, and maintain inventory accuracy with a focus on service quality. The role requires prior leadership experience, a strong customer-service orientation, and the ability to operate store systems efficiently.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Ensures proper pricing, signage, inventory counts, and compliance with store policies.
