Job summary

Tempo-Team is hiring a sewing machine operator in Beek en Donk for a long-term on-site role. You will use an industrial sewing machine to stitch mats, focusing on straight stitches and safety, with attention to heavy-duty materials.

Work is 20 to 36 hours per week at 07:30–16:30 (Mon-Thu) and 07:30–12:00 on Friday, in a friendly team environment. Previous sewing machine experience is a plus but not required.

Who you are

As a sewing machine operator, you have great attention to detail and always work with precision. Experience with a sewing machine is a plus, but not essential. You are also capable of handling physically demanding work; the materials you work with are heavy-duty, and you will regularly need to lift or flip mats.

• You have a good command of Dutch or English;
• You are available 20 to 36 hours per week.

What will you do

As a sewing machine operator, you start your day with coffee or tea before processing heavy materials. You will be using an industrial sewing machine to stitch the edges of mats. These are simple straight stitches, with no complex patterns or delicate fabrics involved.

The atmosphere on the workplace is friendly and informal. During breaks, you can take a moment to recharge. Before you know it, the day is over and you head home satisfied!

Where will you work

This welcoming company specializes in upholstery in the broadest sense of the word. From furniture to cars, to equipment used in gymnastics and sports. So you will not be sewing clothes or working with delicate fabrics. Instead, you will be working with PVC tarpaulins. Real industrial work!

As a sewing machine operator, you will become part of a close-knit and helpful team. After an onboarding period, you will work mostly independently. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:30, and on Friday from 07:30 to 12:00. You can work 20 to 36 hours a week in a pleasant work environment! #MKB #JobSatisfaction
