Job summary

jouwtechniekbaan.nl seeks a practical service technician for a well-established family business to maintain and repair forklifts and warehouse trucks at customer sites.

You will carry out mechanical revisions and component replacements, diagnose faults in electrical, hydraulic, and control systems, and perform periodic inspections with proper documentation. The role includes stock management, reporting, and ongoing development through practical training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• MBO level or equivalent technical education; forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Practical knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics or mechatronics and interest in control software.
• Able to work independently at customer sites, presentable and customer-oriented; good Dutch language proficiency.
• Problem solving and accuracy in maintenance administration; willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair forklifts and warehouse trucks with mechanical revisions and component replacements.
• Diagnose faults and fix electro-, control- and hydraulic systems on-site.
• Perform periodic inspections, safety checks and document according to procedures.
• Manage tools and parts inventory, document work performed and report.
