iPS Powerful People in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Service Technician to maintain and service wind turbines across multiple sites. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and perform repairs, ensuring safety and high reliability while working at height.

The role combines hands-on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work with mentoring junior technicians and contributing to retrofit projects.

Competenze

• MBO-3/4 in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Min 3 years experience in electrical maintenance.
• NEN 3140 VP and NEN 3840 VP certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Knowledge of converters and drive systems is an advantage.

Short Description

Are you an experienced technician looking to work in the renewable energy sector? Join a skilled maintenance team and help keep wind turbines operating safely and efficiently while mentoring junior technicians and solving complex technical challenges.

Function Description

As a Senior Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing wind turbines that generate clean, sustainable energy. Working across sites in the Netherlands, you will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines, ensuring maximum operational performance and reliability.

This is a hands-on role for a technician who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Leveraging your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, you will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide technical support to less experienced colleagues. You will also contribute to maintaining the highest safety standards while working at height and in demanding technical environments.

No two days are the same. From routine maintenance to major component replacements and fault-finding activities, you will be at the forefront of keeping critical renewable energy infrastructure running.

Requirements

• MBO-3 or MBO-4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• NEN 3140 VP and NEN 3840 VP certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
