Job summary

Zanders is seeking a Treasury Consultant in the Netherlands to join our Treasury Advisory Group and work on live projects for public sector and corporate clients. You will guide financing, cash flow forecasts, and treasury policy development while collaborating with a team of around 20 professionals.

We expect 0–5 years of treasury/finance experience (3–5 for Senior Consultant), strong numerical and communication skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Master’s in a relevant study Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics or a comparable quantitative/financial discipline.
• 0-5 years of working experience (3-5years for Senior Consultant) in treasury, corporate finance, banking or a comparable role
• Demonstrable affinity with numbers, consulting and financing topics.

Responsibilities

• Structure and arrange financing solutions (loans, credit facilities) for public sector and corporate clients, from initial analysis through negotiation with lenders.
• Assess financing proposals and applications for feasibility, risk, and alignment with treasury policy.
• Participate in and support client Treasury Committees; prepare and present materials for executive boards and supervisory boards.
• Run client engagements, managing scope, planning, budget and quality of deliverables.
• Assess feasibility of investment projects, analyze risk exposures and recommend funding strategies.
• Define, implement and review treasury policies, procedures, annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and key financial parameters.
• Monitor market trends, regulation and sector developments and translate insights into client recommendations.
