Job summary

HireCrafts is seeking a Senior Transport Planner based in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands, to join the Fleet Team and optimize transport operations for the company’s own trailer fleet.

You will craft efficient schedules, monitor fleet positions, and coordinate with hauliers and partners. This role requires English proficiency, strong analytics, and experience with TMS and MS Office in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Transport Planner.
• Knowledge of TMS systems, Excel and MS Office tools (especially Outlook).
• Very good command of English.
• Knowledge of Dutch, German or French is a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
• Customer-focused approach with cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate efficient transport schedules.
• Monitor fleet positions and respond to deviations or delays.
• Optimize routes and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide clear instructions to hauliers and transport partners.
• Manage assigned transport units and daily operations.
• Support digital and process improvement initiatives.
• Handle customer communication and related admin and financial tasks.
