Job summary

ACCA Careers is assisting an international commodities organisation in finding a Senior Trade Controller in the Netherlands. This role blends commercial finance with business partnering in a global trading environment, delivering financial insights to drive growth and strengthen financial control.

Key tasks include managing management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, analysing margins and KPIs, and collaborating with Commercial, Operations and Finance teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Trade Control, Business Control, Commercial Finance or a similar role.
• Experience within commodity trading or an international trading environment is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP is required; Power BI is an advantage.

• Prepare and analyse management reporting and business performance
