Job summary

Lever, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead blockchain-focused investigations, incident response, and reporting on hacks. The role blends blockchain tracing, cyber threat intel, and applied AI, with a hands-on ownership stance and cross-team collaboration.

You will coordinate a small contractor team across time zones, drive technical research, and publish insights to disrupt illicit activity while maintaining rigorous quality controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in blockchain intelligence, crypto investigations, or cyber threat intelligence.
• Experience leading high-stakes incident response and war rooms.
• Strong blockchain tracing across major networks (BTC, ETH, Solana, etc.).
• Experience applying AI to analytical workflows with human oversight.
• Experience managing contractors or a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead response to major hacks, coordinating triage, investigations, internal stakeholders, customer communications, and post-incident reporting.
• Ensure hacks are identified and communicated to customers within hours of credible reporting.
• Maintain complete hack intelligence with addresses, dates, amounts, and attack types.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to track funds across blockchains.
• Develop AI-assisted tools and workflows for hack analysis and incident response.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and publish technical research.
• Manage contractors and coordinate across time zones.
• Collaborate with teams across intelligence, investigations, data science, engineering, and communications.
