Job summary

Unifyrecruitment is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to own testing strategy for the Business Operations Software Solutions team in Amsterdam. You will drive automation, create end-to-end tests, and collaborate with developers to ensure high quality software.

The role requires a degree in CS/Engineering, strong English (C1), and the ability to design and implement scalable test suites while working in a hybrid office environment with travel supported.

Become a key member of the Marketing, Sales, and Operations division: the Business Operations Software Solutions Team! This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the software that powers essential processes, including everything from customer savings assessments to order payments and strategic planning.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the software within the Business Operations Software Solutions team. You will own the testing strategy and drive the implementation of test automation solutions.

• Perform functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (both automated and manual) with a focus on web tools.
• Define end-to-end test scenarios and data mappings using development documentation and requirements.
• Support existing automated test suites and create new test cases.
• Create and execute manual and automated test scripts using relevant scripting and programming languages.
• Maintain test result documentation to assist the development team in debugging and modifying software and systems.
• Report bugs that occur during the testing process and suggest improvements.
• Participate in discussions regarding new features with the Business Operations Software Solutions team.
• Develop tests in TypeScript using Jest and Supertest frameworks on a daily basis.
• Take initiative to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the organization’s success!

• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• The ability to set up, design, and implement test automation suites, along with advising the team on tooling.
• A proactive approach to working independently, learning from mistakes, and implementing improvements.
• High energy, eagerness, and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• A minimum fluency level of C1 in English.
