Job description

Shape the Future of Leadership and Talent at a Global Scale

Are you ready to shape the future of leadership and talent at a truly global scale? As our Global Talent & Leadership Partner, you will play a central role in ensuring our people and leaders are prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. Reporting to the Global Head of Talent, TA & Learning, you will work closely with senior business leaders and HR to identify and accelerate key talent, strengthen succession pipelines, and ensure leadership readiness for the future. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on shaping the next generation of global leaders.

In this role, you are one of two global experts responsible for the realisation of our Talent ambition across Vanderlande. You don't just run programs; you build the infrastructure that enables our HR Business Partners and Leaders to drive talent development effectively.

Your responsibilities

  • This role is less about program delivery and more about shaping talent processes, influencing mindset, and embedding a talent-focused culture across the organization.
  • Embed a data-driven succession planning mindset and methodology into the daily rhythm of the business.
  • Design and oversee the Global Talent Review process, ensuring consistent execution across all entities/business units.
  • Turn talent strategy into initiatives that strengthen leadership pipelines and accelerate key talent.
  • Design and implement effective talent identification and appointment processes.
  • Drive succession planning and leadership development beyond formal programs.
  • Engage and enable HRBPs and senior leaders to take ownership of talent initiatives.
  • Embed talent development into day-to-day operations, making leaders accountable for growing their teams.
  • Use data and insights to guide talent discussions and inform strategic decisions.
  • Innovate frameworks, tools, and approaches to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and HR colleagues, shaping the next generation of leaders.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in global talent management and leadership development.
  • Strong track record in designing and implementing scalable talent processes and frameworks.
  • Experience in shifting from an operational delivery model to a center of Expertise (CoE)/Enablement model.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority, specifically equipping HR Business Partners to act as the primary interface for Talent Management.
  • Strong background in succession planning, talent processes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex talent and succession data into clear strategic insights that drive executive decision-making.
  • Excellent influencing and relationship skills, with credibility to engage at the highest leadership levels.
  • Collaborative mindset with deep experience working across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Innovative, future-focused, and passionate about building inclusive leadership pipelines.

This position has no direct reports but sits at the heart of our global talent team, collaborating with Talent Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning experts, and senior stakeholders worldwide. In this role, you will not only enable leadership readiness today, but also shape the leaders of tomorrow.

With a lean Global Talent team, scalability is key. You will not be personally coaching hundreds of employees. Instead, you focus on enablement: creating tools, simple processes and clear methodologies that allow the organization to run the talent agenda with your strategic guidance.
