About Whispp

Whispp develops real-time on-device speech technology to empower millions of people with a voice condition and people who stutter severely. Whispp enables communication by converting their whispered and affected speech into a clear and natural voice with the intended intonation on-device in real time. Whispp also enables private & discreet calls by whispering.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing and deploying on-device streaming speech AI models.
• Keeping track of state-of-the-art speech technology research.
• Strategizing the Whispp product development and AI technology roadmap.
• Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with academia and other tech companies.

Requirements

• Master’s in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or Computer Science (PhD is a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in speech technology (Speech Synthesis, Recognition, Voice Conversion, Self-Supervised models, etc.).
• Industrial hands‑on experience implementing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of digital signal processing.
• Experience in developing or deploying low-latency edge models.
• Experience in MLOps.
• Experience in guiding research team(s) in developing AI-driven solutions.
