Position Overview

Our Java teams in the Warehouse Systems domain enable our warehouses to process the volume of groceries. From dealing with inbound items to ensuring stock count reliability and sending groceries to delivery drivers, developers build tools and automations that power the entire warehouse platform. You will design, develop, test, and improve features, as well as enhance scalability and security.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, aligning technical solutions with business goals.
• Identify problems and tackle them with technology, always keeping users in mind.
• Collaborate on cross‑team initiatives involving complex systems to ensure smooth flows in our warehouses.
• Share expertise on tech decisions, simplify complex flows, and consider real‑world consequences.
• Use our technology stack: Java 21/25, Spring 6 with Spring Boot 3.5, Reactor, Immutables, Maven; React, Angular; RabbitMQ, Kafka; PostgreSQL, MongoDB; Git, Docker; AWS, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes, Vault, Datadog, Python 3.x.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Product mindset: own and solve business problems through technology.
• 5+ years of professional programming and software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software development principles; willing to work on backend and frontend.
• Excellent English skills; Dutch not required.
• Living in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
