Lab Digital in Utrecht is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and maintain high-performance applications across front-end and back-end domains. You’ll lead integrations with headless CMS, e‑commerce platforms and external services, bridging UI and server logic, while mentoring teammates and contributing to code standards.

Qualifications

• Senior level web application development experience.
• Strong NodeJS/TypeScript backend and React frontend skills.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Realise robust, scalable integrations with external systems.
• Translate requirements into technical architecture and implementation.
• Develop frontend features with React and ensure UI–server cohesion.
• Create high-performance REST/GraphQL endpoints.
• Collaborate with UX designers and mentor teammates.
• Help define code standards for maintainability and scalability.
• Support clients and train in-house teams on the software.
