As a member of the mechanic team, you ensure that everything is always functioning properly, making you a vital part of the visitor experience. Your insights and field experience are indispensable. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

● Promptly and correctly resolving, preventing (and reporting)malfunctions and defects;

● Ensuring the quality and continuity of daily operations;

● Guaranteeing optimal functionality of all components (technical, mechanical, software) in accordance with safety regulations;

● Building, testing, and commissioning new access systems and gates;

● Providing input regarding maintenance planning and budgets (both short-term and long-term), with a focus on preventive maintenance;

● Identifying structural issues and proposing improvements in collaboration with our partners.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented colleague who thrives on solving technical issues and preventing future problems. With your expertise, you ensure our systems function optimally and provide our visitors with the best possible experience.

In this senior role, you are not only responsible for hands-on tasks but also for guiding technical matters within the team. You are the first point of contact for complex malfunctions andyou mentor mechanics across Europe.

YOUR PROFILE

● You hold at least an MBO-level diploma in a technical field (or equivalent background) and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;

● You have a hands-on mentality and are known for your problem-solving ability and creativity;

● You work independently and are flexible;

● You have a 24/7 mindset and are willing to assist with urgent issues outside office hours;

● You have experience with access systems, gate software, and payment terminals;

● You can independently analyze and solve complex technical malfunctions;

● You prefer repairing over replacing, think in terms of reuse of parts, and aim for minimal downtime through smart maintenance;

● You are a team player;

● You are willing and available to travel internationally;

● You speak English (Dutch is a plus);

● You have a category B driving license.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

● A gross monthly salary between €4.000 and €4.500, depending on your knowledge, education, and experience;

● A laptop and reimbursement for phone costs;
