Job summary

Stafide in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior SAP GTS Functional Consultant to design, implement and support SAP GTS solutions for global trade, compliance and export control. You will configure modules and integrate with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

The role demands 10+ years in SAP consulting with hands-on GTS experience, plus strong stakeholder management and communication to deliver regulatory-compliant trade processes across international teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience, with strong SAP GTS expertise.
• Hands-on experience in configuring, implementing and supporting SAP GTS.
• Knowledge of Compliance Management, Customs Management and Risk Management in SAP GTS.
• Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and external customs systems.

As a Senior SAP GTS Functional Consultant, you will:

• Design, implement, configure, and support SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions for global trade compliance, customs management, and export control.
  
• Configure and maintain SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
  
• Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems to enable seamless global trade processing.
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  
• Support international trade processes, including embargo checks, sanctioned party screening, and export/import license management.
  
• Perform system testing, resolve defects, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize global trade processes.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international business teams to ensure regulatory compliance and successful project delivery.
  
• Ensure SAP GTS solutions align with applicable trade regulations and business requirements.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 10+ years of overall professional experience in SAP consulting, with strong expertise in SAP Global Trade Services.
  
• Extensive hands‑on experience in SAP GTS configuration, implementation, and support.
  
• Strong knowledge of Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management within SAP GTS.
  
• Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and external customs systems.
  
• Strong understanding of global trade compliance, import/export regulations, and customs processes.
  
• Experience with sanctioned party screening, embargo checks, and license management.
  
• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional and technical specifications.
  
• Hands‑on experience with system testing, defect resolution, UAT, and production support.
  
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
