DFE Pharma, a global leader in pharmaceutical excipient solutions, seeks a Senior Research & Development Specialist in Nijmegen. You will spearhead novel excipient technologies for next-generation OSD manufacturing, and serve as a scientific leader shaping our innovation roadmap while partnering with academia and external networks.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Powder Technology, Material Science or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant industrial experience in pharmaceutical R&D, formulation development or excipient development.
• Experience developing innovative formulation or excipient technologies for oral solid dosage applications.
• Strong expertise in powder functionality, material characterization, pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading complex R&D programs involving cross-functional and external stakeholders.
• Ability to independently drive projects while engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Strong project planning and time management capabilities.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Collaborative mindset and experience in international, multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop innovative (novel) excipient solutions for next-generation OSD manufacturing technologies.
• Lead as scientific expert in formulation and excipient science helping define the innovation roadmap.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, academic partners and external networks to develop differentiated technologies.
