Elekta seeks a Senior Project Manager R&D to lead multiple complex product-development and lifecycle projects within the Brachytherapy organization, bringing structure, pace and transparency to hardware, software, systems engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain and commercial stakeholders.

The role combines hands-on project leadership with portfolio-level coordination in a regulated environment, focusing on realistic plans, early risk assessment and disciplined

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project or program management within complex product development.
• Track record delivering multiple cross-functional projects across hardware, software, and systems.
• Experience with SAFe/Agile, hybrid and traditional delivery approaches.
• Strong planning, forecasting, risk management and financial control skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Dutch is an advantage.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe certification is an advantage.
• Ability to lead through obstacles and align multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through delivery while managing several workstreams.
• Create integrated project plans, milestones, budgets and resource assumptions.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery commitments.
• Provide clear execution rhythm and ensure decisions are followed.
• Coordinate across teams and remove cross-functional barriers.
• Conduct project reviews, gate reviews and steering forums.
• Develop credible forecasts, capacity plans and recovery scenarios.
• Report progress to management and governance bodies.
• Integrate Design Controls, Risk Management and regulated documentation.
• Support regulatory strategies and submissions.
• Provide Release Train Engineer responsibilities in SAFe environment when needed.
