Adyen in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Product Manager for FX to lead the vision, strategy and execution of our FX trading platform and cash-management tooling. You will collaborate with Engineering, Treasury and Commercial teams to deliver a global, reliable solution that scales while maintaining trust.

You will shape product strategy with an AI-forward mindset, own roadmaps, and drive governance across departments.

Senior Product Manager, FX

This is a high impact role based in Amsterdam and part of the FX and Cash Management team. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about financial technology, adopts an AI-first product development mindset, and is excited about Adyen’s opportunity to grow its financial products business by 10x in the next 2-5 yrs.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a reliable FX trading platform, enabling the whole company to use your services. You will also be responsible for creating the vision, strategy and implementation of the cash management tooling, working closely with the Treasury department but also with our merchants to identify their needs.

What You'll Do:

• Set strategy and roadmap for the FX and cash management team.
• Lead execution working closely with the Engineering, Product, Treasury, Finance and Commercial teams, to deliver a cohesive FX platform that scales globally without compromising reliability or trust.
• Establish governance for FX across multiple teams and departments, defining success and operational metrics, driving alignment across Adyen.
• Build a first-in-class Treasury Management System that serves both the needs of our customers and our internal teams.

What Success Looks Like:

Within the first 6-12 months, you will have:

• Established a clear vision, strategy and goals for the FX and cash management team
• Identified key customer and operational pain points helping shape the product roadmap
• Build a well oiled product development team that can execute on the roadmap

Who you are

• Experience - 8+ years building high-scale platforms in fast growing tech or fintech environments. 2+ years of experience in FX and/or cash management is a must.
• Execution - track record of delivering complex product and platform initiatives at scale. Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high autonomy and ownership.
• Customer centric: You are able to translate technical complexity back to customer impact and understand the needs of different customers.
• Product - PM at heart with strong product instincts, data-based decision mindset, and highly focused on business impact. Demonstrated passion for AI-forward thinking.
• Leadership - demonstrated ability of setting vision and strategy for teams. Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
• Communication - a clear, compelling communicator who is comfortable interacting with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures.
• Mindset - entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward action and ability to move fast in the midst of ambiguity.
