Job summary

Adyen in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Product Manager to build and scale the Credit and Data Platform, foundational for Adyen’s Financial OS. You will lead cross-functional teams and drive AI-first product development to grow our credit products business by 10x in the next 2–5 years.

You’ll own strategy, execution, and metrics for credit servicing and arrears, partner with Engineering, Finance, Regulatory, and Compliance, and define success through data-driven experiments that improve platform

Senior product manager, Credit and Data Platform

We have a massive opportunity ahead of us – to scale Adyen’s financial products by 10x using our rich data, ushering in the next phase of growth for the company. Adyen has built a Financial OS spanning Banking, Issuing, and Capital, powered by our unified global platform, banking licenses, and dynamic identity data. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and scale the Credit and Data Platform which will be foundational for Adyen’s next generation Financial Products.

This is a high impact role based in Amsterdam and part of the Credit and Data Platform team. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about financial technology, adopts an AI-first product development mindset, and is excited about Adyen’s opportunity to grow its financial products business by 10x in the next 2-5 yrs.

In this role, you will be responsible for building an automated credit and arrears management platform that serves all of Adyen’s credit products while enabling our operational teams to manage the portfolio at scale. Platform capabilities will include credit performance and arrears management – driving customer satisfaction, while managing portfolio risk and keeping Adyen compliant with regulatory requirements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Product, Design, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to deliver customer and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Set strategy and roadmap for the credit servicing and collections team.
• Lead platform-scale execution working closely with the Engineering, Product, Design, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to deliver an automated platform that scales globally without compromising reliability or trust.
• Operate with a data and experimentation first mindset defining success metrics including platform scalability and operational efficiency. Adopt an AI-first product development approach including experimentation that measurably improves outcomes.

What Success Looks Like

• Established a clear vision, strategy and goals for the credit servicing and collections team
• Identified key customer and operational pain points helping shape the product roadmap
• Build a well oiled product development team that can execute on the roadmap
• Launched core capabilities of the platform in collaboration with the Capital and Issuing product teams

Who You Are

• Experience - 8+ years building high-scale platforms in fast growing tech or fintech environments. 2+ year of experience in credit and arrears management is a must.
• Execution - track record of delivering complex product and platform initiatives at scale. Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high autonomy and ownership.
• Customer centric- You are able to translate technical complexity back to customer impact and understand the needs of different customers.
• Product - PM at heart with strong product instincts, data-based decision mindset, and highly focused on business impact. Demonstrated passion for AI-forward thinking.
• Leadership - demonstrated ability of setting vision and strategy for teams. Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
• Communication - a clear, compelling communicator who is comfortable interacting with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures.
• Mindset - entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward action and ability to move fast in the midst of ambiguity.
