Job summary

Neople is seeking a Senior Product Engineer (Python) to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions and elevate our digital coworkers. You will build, ship and improve high-impact features, contribute to technical decisions, and help raise engineering quality while collaborating with product and design teams.

You will thrive in a fast-moving startup environment, translating customer problems into scalable platform solutions and owning end-to-end delivery with independence and strong judgment.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in SaaS and/or AI startups, with day-to-day AI experience being essential.
• Strong backend engineering skills using Python and FastAPI.
• Experience shipping production-grade features in scalable, secure systems.
• Ability to translate customer problems into scalable platform solutions.
• Experience working with product and design to implement ideas.
• Comfort with rapid experimentation and learning in fast-moving environments.
• Willingness to challenge assumptions and contribute new ideas beyond code.

Your impact

As a Senior Product Engineer (Python) at Neople, you will build, ship and improve high-impact product features. Beyond coding, you will contribute to technical decisions and improve engineering practices - helping the team move faster, smarter and with higher quality.

About you

• At least five years of experience in SaaS and/or AI startups, with day-to-day AI experience being essential.

• Understanding customer problems and translating this to scalable platform solutions

• Thrived in fast-moving environments (Seed to Series B) and know what scaling feels like.

• Strong Backend Engineering Skills in Python and FastAPI.

• Track record of shipping production-grade features and building scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

• Care about the why as much as the how, keeping customers at the center of decisions.

• Experienced working hand-in-hand with product and design to bring ideas to life.

• Balance speed with quality - experiment quickly, learn fast, and build with intent.

• Contribute input, feedback, challenge assumptions and bring fresh ideas - not just code.

• Operate independently with sound judgment while collaborating deeply when needed.
