Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design work experience.
• Bachelor's or master's in design, computer science, human-computer interaction, or related field.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design from concept to production.
• Ability to lead large, complex design programs with diverse stakeholders.
• Systems thinking with the vision to design the big picture and tactical execution.
• Understanding of business goals, customer needs, emerging AI capabilities, and evolving data landscape.
• Self-directed and comfortable in ambiguity.
• Strong visual and interaction design rooted in a data-driven UX process.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for an area of the Databricks Platform, from framing to shipped detail.
• Set the design direction and define success for key tasks with evidence from testing and research.
• Review work with product, engineering, and AI tools, and contribute hands-on when needed.
• Advocate for users by turning research into actionable insights for teams.
• Create reusable UX patterns and drive consistency across platforms.
