Job summary

Beyond Sports is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape how fans experience world-class sports platforms across web and native mobile apps. You will own UI/UX decisions, define design system standards, and mentor designers within delivery squads.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and sports experts to deliver scalable, pixel-perfect interfaces. The role emphasizes strategic UX thinking, visual craft, and leadership in a fast-moving design team.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of commercial product design experience (agency, high-growth tech, or digital sports media)
Standout portfolio with end-to-end product design for iOS, Android, and responsive web
Advanced mastery of Figma, including prototyping, tokenized component libraries, and design system governance
Deep expertise in user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, and responsive design frameworks
Proven experience guiding design handoff and QA with engineering squads
Strong design leadership and delivery management within English-speaking teams

Responsibilities

Take end-to-end ownership of UI and UX solutions for major client initiatives across web and native mobile apps (iOS and Android).
Architect complex user journeys and wireframes for live data features.
Set component-driven design system standards in Figma and present design rationales to clients.
Mentor midweight designers and lead design initiatives within delivery squads.

What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how some of the most followed clubs and organizations in world sport engage and inspire millions of fans.

Working alongside Lead Designers, Product Managers, and cross-functional delivery squads, you'll take end-to-end ownership of UI and UX solutions for major client initiatives across web and native mobile apps (iOS and Android).

One day you might be architecting complex user journeys and wireframing new live match data features. The next, you could be setting component-driven design system standards in Figma, presenting design rationales to client stakeholders, or mentoring midweight designers within your squad.

You’ll serve as a key design lead within delivery teams, driving creative quality, technical feasibility, and seamless developer handoff. Your Background

You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re generally looking for:

Minimum 5+ years of commercial product design experience (agency, high-growth tech, or digital sports media)
A standout portfolio demonstrating complex end-to-end product design, scalable systems, and polished UI/UX for iOS, Android, and responsive web
Advanced mastery of Figma, including advanced prototyping, tokenized component libraries, and design system governance
Deep expertise in user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, and responsive design frameworks
Proven experience working directly with engineering squads to guide successful design handoff and QA implementation
Methodical approach to work management with high attention to detail and quality control
Comfortable leading design initiatives and collaborating in an English-speaking environment

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

Deep domain knowledge of world sports, live match platforms, sports betting, or real-time data visualization
Experience designing for rich media platforms, 3D/interactive graphics, or streaming interfaces
Familiarity with design tokens, CSS/component frameworks, or native mobile HIG and Material Design guidelines
