Job summary

EY’s Amsterdam office is seeking a Senior Consultant in Procurement to shape client engagements by leading sub-projects and delivering procurement strategy, operating model, and spend analyses.

You will work with cross-functional teams across industries, build client relationships, develop proposals and trainings, and contribute to thought leadership while maintaining high standards of integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ work experience in a Procurement related environment (Consulting or business).
• Master's degree preferably in Business, Operations management, or Supply Chain Management.
• Analytical and structured working style with conceptual thinking.
• Proactive, energetic, and able to deliver high quality work quickly.
• Collaborative team player and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Results oriented with a focus on client value and excellence.
• Experience in project management and keeping clients informed.
• Fluent in English and Dutch written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sub project within client engagements in Procurement.
• Work independently and in teams to improve client performance.
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to structure problems and report findings.
• Build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.
• Contribute to EY SC&O by developing proposals, solutions, trainings and thought leadership.
