Job summary

Recranet in Middelburg, Netherlands, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance the backend of the Recranet Booking app (Symfony/Angular), with potential frontend tasks. You’ll shape integrations and development choices in a growing tourism tech environment.

You have 5+ years PHP/SQL, Symfony/Doctrine/Composer experience, and Git proficiency; independence, teamwork, and enthusiasm for new ideas are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience with PHP (OO) and SQL.
• Experience with the Symfony PHP framework, Doctrine, and Composer.
• Strong Git experience and ability to work independently in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work on the back-end (and possibly front-end) of the Recranet Booking application (Symfony & Angular).
• Develop connections and integrations with various parties (Symfony and Python Cloud Functions).
• Contribute to the development strategy and use of open-source extensions.
