Job summary

This is the company in Amsterdam seeking a highly proactive Senior Security Expert to lead PCI certifications for our payments platform. You will own the certification portfolio, work with QSAs, and translate complex requirements into actionable tasks for engineering teams while ensuring audit readiness.

You will engage with hardware and software engineers and drive proactive certification planning, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, ownership, and industry leadership in payment security.

Qualifications

• Deep subject matter expertise in PCI frameworks and standards such as PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS-POI, MPoC, SSF.
• Proven track record orchestrating complex compliance pipelines with multiple stakeholders.
• Able to translate compliance requirements into practical guidance for hardware and software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PCI Certifications process for the Payments Solution, including PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS, MPoC and SSF.
• Maintain a current inventory of PCI certifications across devices and applications.
• Plan expiry dates, re-evaluation windows, and trigger delta certifications ahead of audits.
• Serve as primary contact with QSAs and external assessors, coordinating materials and interviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering to provide compliance guidance without slowing development.
• Own security documentation for assessments and maintain audit readiness year-round.
• Represent the company in PCI SSC Working Groups and industry forums.
