Job summary

Whispp in Leiden is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, on-device Voice AI, focused on integrating the SDK with customer hardware and software ecosystems. You will own PoC execution, milestones, and documentation while collaborating with AI researchers and product teams.

You will drive real-time audio processing, NPU/DSP acceleration, and secure on-device model handling, coordinating across OEMs to deliver robust integrations at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is not stated.
• Strong C/C++ for embedded or mobile platforms, with Android experience.
• Hands-on edge AI inference and on-device security requirements.
• Proven ability to work with customer engineering teams and document outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate the on-device W2S SDK on customer devices and OS environments.
• Lead PoC and NRE programs with hardware setup, milestones, and KPI measurements.
• Identify and fix integration blockers in hardware, latency, and audio pipelines.
• Maintain demo hardware and contribute to customer meetings and trade shows.
• Act as the primary technical contact for OEM teams during PoC, NRE, and validation.
