Job summary

bol.com is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Engineer to strengthen our safety by performing offensive security work across our platform, including customer and partner facing services. You’ll join a security operations team of hackers and defenders, collaborating to identify and close holes while guiding product teams on risk-based actions.

You’ll review designs, run vulnerability assessments of apps and infra, model threats, and lead security projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in large engineering-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Tomcat, Java, and Spring.
• Experience with GCP and Kubernetes.
• Ability to communicate threats and complex risks to product teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing on request for product teams.
• Review technical designs and run "breaking stuff on paper" sessions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments of applications, systems, and networks.
• Engage in threat modeling to help product teams assess risks.
• Support security incident management and major security projects.
