Job summary

VBeyond Europe is seeking an experienced software engineer to translate storyboards into functional applications and to design, build, and maintain high-quality code. You will ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness while collaborating with the Product Owner to align with business requirements and delivery timelines.

The role requires 5+ years in C#/.NET, strong knowledge of Azure/AWS, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and frontend frameworks like React or Angular.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience in C# and .Net/.Net Core.
• Strong knowledge of Azure/AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a strong plus.
• Solid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team.
• Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, deployment patterns among others.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment with business requirements and meet delivery timelines.
• Prioritize and facilitate the early resolution of client issues, ensuring adherence to SLA.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to critical feature designs, and ensure overall quality.
• Flag technical debt and document improvements for prioritization.
• Implement a robust documentation system for knowledge base and onboarding.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions.
