Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and engineer reliable, safe, and sustainable solutions for complex oil & gas projects. You will lead technical work packages, ensure interfaces are managed, and comply with international codes and SBM standards.

You will contribute to the True. Blue. Transition. program by applying lessons learned, coordinating with vendors and site teams, and delivering robust engineering outcomes across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Engineer diploma or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Experience designing and engineering solutions for oil & gas projects.

Purpose

• The Senior Engineer's purpose is to design and engineer solutions that achieve high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, thereby contributing to the projects and organization's strategic objectives and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
• You are responsible for proactively planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame and budget, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
• You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
• You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
• You may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacturing of the Package.
• You start leading engineers on assigned scope of work
• You may act as Discipline Lead for an assigned scope of work.

Education

• Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline

• 5 to 10 years in Oil & Gas Industry
