Job summary

Super is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager for Applied Machine Learning & Research to lead the ML team and deliver scalable models for sports, gaming and fan experiences across Europe and beyond. You will split your time between technical contribution, project coordination and people management, driving impact and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, ML or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in ML and data science roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.
• Strong Python programming and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, primarily AWS, and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models to solve complex business problems.
• Manage and prioritise machine learning projects to align with business goals and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 data scientists and ML engineers, providing guidance and support in their day-to‑day activities.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment whilst building strong partnerships with product management and stakeholders.
