Job summary

bol is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in the Netherlands to turn complex ML ideas into reliable products and run ML at scale. You will choose architectures, frameworks and technologies while solving data and compute challenges.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to apply production‑grade ML for personalised recommendations, ensuring reliability, scalability and cost efficiency in live systems. Based in Utrecht, NL, you’ll join a collaborative, data‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong programming in Python and production ML.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, SQL and modern data/ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Scale out analyses and algorithms to improve recommendations.
• Collaborate on improving current ML pipelines so recommenders stay up to date and easy to maintain.
• Bring data science solutions for recommendations into production with reliability and scalability.
