Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to drive end-to-end ML projects for advertising. You will design and deploy embedding models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize models with large-scale data pipelines and evaluations.

You will work with LLMs, VLMs, and foundational models to enhance ranking and relevance, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across the system. A strong background in NLP/CV and DL frameworks is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with design, training, evaluation, testing and deployment of industry-level models.
• Experience building NLP or CV models and integrating them at scale.
• Experience developing complex features/embeddings for downstream models.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Excitement about working with data and deriving insights from metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and iterate embedding models for advertising use cases, including pipelines and two-tower architectures.
• Work with LLMs/VLMs: extract representations, develop evaluation methodologies, tune prompts and fine-tune models.
• Build data processing and inference pipelines for developed models.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative evaluation and experiments across benchmarks and online metrics.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance with tests and monitoring.
• Participate in modeling and code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
