Job summary

Teijin Aramid in Emmen seeks a Mechanical Technician B (WTB) to perform maintenance, expansions and modifications on large-scale equipment. You will advise colleagues, inspect maintenance actions, and coordinate technical projects.

The role requires reading German and English documentation, Dutch communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• MBO level 4 in a relevant technical field.
• Experience as Mechanical Technician (WTB).
• Affinity for coordinating and reporting activities, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently yet collaborate with others and interpret technical insights.
• Experience reading German and English documentation and drawings; ability to communicate in Dutch.
• Proactive and responsible with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance, expansions, and modifications on mechanical systems.
• Provide input to the maintenance plan considering OEE, QHSE, and costs.
• Provide technical instructions to technicians, including external partners.
• Participate in on-call duties when required.
