Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Leiden Cell Therapy Site is seeking a dynamic Material Operations Specialist II to join a dedicated team supporting ambient and cold chain materials.

You will manage receipt, storage, transfer and distribution under GMP, label materials, perform cycle counts and support equipment and system alarms, SAP/eWM, and training of colleagues. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive approach in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a cGMP warehouse environment and understanding of Materials Management.
• DOT/IATA/HazMat experience and certifications a plus.
• Experience with receiving, temperature storage, issuance, and inventory control practices including cycle counting, and rejected/expired material disposition.
• Experience in cold chain logistical movement of time critical and temperature sensitive biologics.
• Knowledge of Freight forwarder and courier direct shipments and associated documentation requirements is preferred.
• Understanding controlled temperature, humidity, and pest control monitoring for cGMP environments is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management regarding task completion, roadblocks, and needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, transfer, distribute, dispose and clean all materials (ambient, cold chain, dangerous goods) per GMP.
• Prepare all type of material for shipment to internal and external parties per GMP.
• Label materials in accordance with GMP procedures.
• Perform inventory controls including cycle counting and disposition of rejected/expired material.
• Maintain safe and organized workspace and operate material handling equipment as required.
• Respond to system and equipment alarms during shifts; assist in equipment commissioning.
• Coordinate internal and external customer requests across multiple unit operations.
• Train colleagues on GMP Material Operations to ensure proficiency.
• Support Quality Systems for Deviation, SOP revisions/creation, and CAPA Management.
• Provide basic equipment troubleshooting and act as System champion for SAP/eWM.
