Job summary

Mammoet is seeking a Lead Engineer in Schiedam, The Netherlands, to lead the technical engineering scope on heavy lift projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, check engineering documents, and liaise with clients to meet requirements. Strong leadership and international project experience are essential.

The role focuses on delivering engineering excellence with global support from Breda and Schiedam, and requires extensive travel and hands-on technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Automotive Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Leading the technical engineering scope of projects;
• Check and approve engineering documents, verify if the right methods and/or equipment have been used;
• Liaising with internal and external clients to ensure the requirements are met;
• Coordinating planning, organization and implementation;
• Finding smart ways to overcome project challenges;
• Ensuring all engineering scopes are aligned, understand the relation between these scopes and act on it.
