Mercell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and optimize cloud-native applications using Java, Spring MVC and Springboot within AWS services. Build secure, scalable software and collaborate across teams to ensure architectural consistency and best practices.

You will contribute to CI/CD and SDL processes, improve test automation, and apply clean code principles while working on a growing SaaS platform for tendering and procurement.

Qualificações

• Senior-level experience with Java, Spring MVC and Springboot.
• Proven experience with cloud computing services, preferably AWS.
• Strong background in building web applications.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, SDLC processes, and test automation.
• Adherence to clean code principles.
• Familiarity with event-driven technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Experience of Infrastructure as Code with tools (CloudFormation preferred).
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with stored procedures and databases like DocumentDB, MariaDB, PostgreSQL.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust high-quality applications using Java, Spring MVC and Springboot.
• Integrate and optimize services within AWS, including SNS, S3, RDS, ECS, EKS, Lambda.
• Support the creation of secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure architectural consistency and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on platform improvements and technical challenges.
• Optimize database queries and stored procedures.
