Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Advanced Java Developer in Amsterdam to design, develop and maintain advanced Java-based applications. You will work on API development with Spring Boot, SQL, Cassandra and Elastic, and collaborate with clients to understand business requirements.

Ideal candidates have 7-10 years of experience, strong Java 17+, Kafka and messaging queues, and participate in code reviews and knowledge transfers. This role is hybrid with Amsterdam location and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Required relevant experience – 7-10 years.
• Developing APIs using Core Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Cassandra, Elastic etc.
• Should have worked in Kafka & Messaging Queues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client and understand the business requirements.
• Defect management and fixing bugs raised during integration or functional testing.
• Fix performance issues related to API execution.
• Provide production-support via analysis of application logs.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions on latest Java technologies.
