Job summary

Apollo Solutions is partnering with a global manufacturing leader to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor to join its international Audit function. You will execute risk-based audits across geographies, assess controls, and test SOX compliance.

You will analyze data, report findings, and work with stakeholders to drive improvements. Travel approximately 30% is expected; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in internal or external audit or related role.
• Experience with manufacturing clients.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Experience with SOX, internal controls, governance, risk management.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; Power BI/Tableau advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based internal audit assignments across a global business.
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance processes.
• Identify control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations to improve business processes.
• Conduct financial and operational audits, including SOX control testing.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare clear audit documentation and reports to support findings and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple business units and geographies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to audit methodology, technology, and data analytics.
