At i3D.net , we provide world-class global coverage with one of themost interconnected networksin the world. Our solutions focus on low latency, zero packet loss, and unmatched scalability, enabling seamless experiences for millions of users worldwide. With dedicated support, bespoke solutions, and cutting-edge technology, we deliver reliable, cost-efficient infrastructure that empowers game developers and businesses to scale effortlessly. Partnering with major names likeNvidia, DuckDuckGo, andUbisoft, we are shaping the future of gaming and network technology.

At i3D.net , our product suite spans the full spectrum of infrastructure solutions:

Metal:Dedicated servers providing raw compute power.

Unified Platform:Enhancing our core Metal product with tools for game hosting, and platforms, to ensure seamless user experiences, including Anti-DDoS, Bare Metal Cloud, Anti-Cheat, and more.

Network:A global backbone delivering robust connectivity solutions, including IP transit.

SmartDC:Colocation services through our data centers in Rotterdam, Paris, and Montreal.

Why your role matters

The Production discipline at i3D.net is a team of producers, including the Production Director, who work across a wide range of products. We set standards, bring structure and help teams deliver complex products efficiently and predictably.

For our Infrastructure Delivery team, we are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Delivery Project Manager who will act as Delivery Lead for the physical build-out and delivery side of our datacenter and network portfolio: datacenter builds and migrations, colocation and cross-connect delivery, server and network product rollout, and the day‑to‑day coordination between Infra Delivery, Capacity & Planning, and Live Ops.

You’ll be the closest ally to the Manager of Infrastructure Delivery: someone who takes qualified projects handed over by the Capacity & Planning team and drives them from planning through delivery. You’ll juggle several large‑scale builds at once, coordinating vendors, DC Operations, Network teams, Supply Chain Management, and external partners such as Equinix and Digital Realty. You bring the structure, Jira discipline, and reporting rigour this fast‑moving environment needs, while staying close enough to the work to earn the trust of the engineers delivering it.

What you’ll be doing

Own end-to-end infra delivery:Manage several concurrent large-scale infrastructure projects, datacenter builds, migrations, colocation, and standard portfolio product delivery (servers, network products, racks, cross-connects) from initiation to completion, controlling scope, timeline and budget.

Bridge planning and execution:Translate qualified projects and long‑term capacity roadmaps handed over by Capacity & Planning into concrete delivery plans, timelines, and Jira structures the Infra Delivery team can execute against.

Build delivery visibility:Set up and maintain Jira hygiene (structure, burndowns, backlog) that gives real‑time visibility on flow, cadence, steps and velocity across all active builds.

Coordinate across a wide network of stakeholders:Work daily with DC Operations, Network teams, Supply Chain Management/Procurement, external vendors (Equinix, Digital Realty, telecom and shipment providers), remote‑hands contacts, and the engineers driving technical decisions.

Drive accountability:Steer progress and keep commitments visible, supporting the engineers to deliver on technical scoping and execution.

Improve cross-team service handoffs:Identify and remove friction in how completed infrastructure is handed over to other teams, accelerating that transition via improvements and optimisations.

Report and flag risk early:Produce regular, reliable reporting (progress updates, risk registers, operations metrics, staffing plans, capacity dashboards) that feeds into Infrastructure Delivery leadership, Capacity & Planning, and ultimately the C‑suite.

Build relationships:Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders alike, the kind of groundwork that facilitates team building and lets you anticipate problems before they surface.

What success looks like in the first year

Visibility:Every active infra project has clear visibility (workflows, velocity, capacity) and a reporting cadence people can rely on. Working from Capacity & Planning’s inputs, you’ve built a roadmap the team trusts, and you flag risks before they become problems.

Ownership:You’ve established yourself as the person that owns delivery processes in Infra, and you’re relied on as a trusted partner by your teammates and stakeholders.

Improved handoffs:The handoff between Infra Delivery and other teams is visibly faster and more streamlined compared to when you started.

Proven under load:You’re running multiple major builds at once without things falling through the cracks.

Proven leadership in infrastructure delivery:You bring 5+ years of project management or production experience and have guided multidisciplinary teams of 10+ people across datacenter builds, migrations, or comparable large‑scale infrastructure programmes.

Structured methodology background:You’re comfortable with PRINCE2 and/or ITIL, and know how to control scope, time and budget in a waterfall‑style delivery.

Physical DC fluency:You understand how a cage is designed, a rack is built, a network topology looks, and how a server is uplinked and redundantly connected to power. Enough to speak the language of the people doing the physical work.

Hands‑on with Jira:You know how to set up and maintain project structure in Jira and apply it to infrastructure delivery rather than software.

Juggle complexity and stakeholders:You’ve managed multiple concurrent projects with many stakeholders across different specialties and seniority levels, from engineers to C‑level.

Proactive self‑starter:You analyse situations and improve processes rather than just following what’s already in place.

Warm but firm communicator:You bring charisma, calm, and maturity, and you can hold your own with vendors, engineers, and senior leadership alike. You’re genuinely excited by the tech and proud of what gets built.

Certifications are a plus:CDCP, EPI, Cisco/Juniper, CompTIA, Linux, RHEL, Microsoft certifications, or similar.

Work authorization and location:This is a hybrid role based in Rotterdam, with regular time at our datacenters and international travel when needed. You must be authorized to work in the Netherlands and be based in, or willing to relocate to, the Netherlands.
