Job summary

Belsimpel in Groningen seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve our private cloud stack. You’ll lead design, reliability, and automation across Kubernetes-based platforms, Ceph storage, and GitOps workflows.

You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams, drive large-scale migrations, improve observability, and help colleagues grow, with a hybrid work policy and strong focus on security and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, storage, networking and security.
• Experience with GitOps, automation, and monitoring at scale.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and maintaining scalable infrastructure.
• Define strategy for observability, security and automation.
• Drive large migrations and platform changes across teams.
• Mentor colleagues and conduct technical reviews.
