Job summary

Organon, Oss (The Netherlands), is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for Indirect Materials & Services to bridge between suppliers, internal stakeholders and global teams. You will support sourcing, contracting, and category strategy for facilities, temporary labor, and business technology in a dynamic pharmaceutical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, supply chain, procurement, engineering or another related field of study.
• Strong oral and written communication in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy development and execution with cross-functional teams to deliver quick wins and innovations.
• Manage multiple indirect procurement categories and relationships with regional and global suppliers.
• Organize and lead strategic sourcing initiatives (RFI, RFQ, supplier negotiations) with digital tools.
• Independently prepare and negotiate contracts with minimal legal support.
• Engage stakeholders and partner with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
• Involve early in cross-functional projects and drive continuous improvement.
• Apply market knowledge and data analysis to select sourcing strategies and drive cost reductions.
• Aim for cost control and sustainable reductions, with a strong TCO focus.
• Deliver ongoing savings and meet stakeholder requirements.
• Support ESG goals including supplier diversity and sustainability.
